My name doesn't matter because I am an american worker at one of the High Energe physic and i was a women in a mans world. And i worked better than those men because i loved my job. I worked on a number project a signed to our lab. and had a Lead position getting the work done, and make sure i said hi to those that thought that they were hot shut the important ones you know them because they tell you that they runs thing. And you know some of them do
but them ego ones ride your ass making your life a living hell. I am disable and it happen on the job slowly I started working on this special project and because i loved my job. When I would get those warning signs and they would go a way until october 10 1999. the pain staied longer around and when i take to our superviser I was told that these were old people pains and i was getting older and this is what it felt like God working in my job that i liked help me tell the right people by breaking my ring finger of my left hand lucky i never were my wedding band it would of had to get cut off. but I was Lucky and never were it while working with my hands especial small places.so i never were rings to work.on October 21,1999 I went to the docter and he put a finger guard to hold it in place. i had taken one day off after I broke my finger workers compansation called to check up on me and they ask if i had taken any days off work and i said yes and she said for my finger and i said no for my elbow that had be hurting me sense October 10 1999. she looked for the papers accident forms and i told her that medical told me it would make me look bad if i filed any accident form . then this lady that i had heard was not nice was being nice to me because told me that, that s what worker comp was for to help engined worker and it made the company look bad if there was one more hand enginered on the job because there i had found out that they didn't care about me only about getting the job done and if you got hurt the supervisors told you, you were just getting older and i had lost the ability to put things up with my right hand a pot of coffee half full was to heavy for me even a cup of coffee. So the worker comp agent told me to do the first thing when i got o work and that was to fill out a accident form because I had actuly caused tindanightis in my arm and it was bad. so i started using my left arm while doing my job and what happen next could have floored me i got tendenightis in my left arm be during the posis of putting these massive chambers together i was engering my arms at a job i loved. being a single mother with three children and no father who cared to pay their child support it was me alone not the man i was about to married was it was his job to take care of them they were my children not his. he helped by taking them to daycare for me and if i could not get off and they got sick they had to lay down under his desk. Now having doctors telling me the job had gotten to be too much for me. so the doctors wrote the restiction and i weight limit 5 pounds and no torqueing any longer so i followed those restiction and continue to carry a full work load while taking pain medacation i continue to work for the next three years to the point that i had to take days off and getting to work on time. at this time at work we are going threw a managemite was changing and she told my supervisor made my supervior to put me on a warning because eventhought i made it up at the end of the day by staying later to make up for the 5 minutes i was late every day even after i told them that it was the pain in the morning that cased me to be late. and there were others that were late themselves but to take the heatoff them they only told them i was late. and they were late theresevles that day. And here was nothing i could do egisped to take the time off to have my body heal. I am stesl healing and when they sent me a letter saying that they had no job for me and i fight them about it. I made them rethink the statement about having nothing for me. so they came back with a job not in my area but in the cleaning where they think the job was easier and it was some day and other it was really hard to concinue to work. So i ask my superviser if i could take the next morning off or i'd call in absent foor the day watch was not so bad because their were days when when we had no work. My arms and shoulder were hurting so bad i could hardly make it thought the day. i mean enven the drive 45 minutes hurt my arms making the drive. but mangement made have a meet with the workers rights office and gave me no chose except to take disability off or i was fired and i told my union rep that all my absents were okayed by y superviser and he even said be careful managment was looking at me and i said your my superviser and you have okayed my not being at work or coming in late and i got up 5 in the morning just to leave by 6am to work on time but there were some morning it was all i could do was wait the pain out in order for me to get to work and the time i took off my time sick leave vacation personal time but at this last meet she wrote me a letter says get cover by these two weeks she gave me off to get on disability or you can not return to work which i could but when i needed time off even if my superviser okayed aday ahead it was like she looking for a reason to fire me. is there any lawyer out there who could help me get my job back and at this time in the machine shop they were letting there tool crib work come in late because of school for her kids. and let her stay later all by herself to make up the time she have to makeup. and her supervisor okayed that for her and many of times she told me after everyone left she would go home her self early. and there were days she had to do things at the kids school but for her it was okayed. the boss and i were too much alike and i think she didn't like that. plus i had a bigger job on the project than she did.she even screwed one of the nices supervisor in the back by putting his area he supervisored and she put them on the night shift with out telling him. he found out by stopping by the area for a up date and they told him about the night shift she whenen't behind his back. what to do i even had to work under anothe doctors the doctor for the company not my own docter. they dismissed my doctors restrictions it was the other doctors notes they worked under. what to do about the choose go on disability or your fired. what kind of choose is that . pplus she said i was out so much the my supervisor could not asign me work when there was little to nothing somedays we did nothing just act like you are. what a whay to have your workers work. plus i only loaded the degreaser and any one of the other guys could of done that. and the work that did come in it was for the other guys who had more experice.
