Dear Annie: My younger son, "Jake," has struggled with school from Day One and was placed in special education classes. After graduation, he stayed with us while attending a local college and now has a decent job. However, while under our roof, he got two DUIs and now has no driver's license.

Your response to "True Blue" did not include the possibility that her husband may be involved in drugs. My sister's husband of 15 years, at the age of 42, became involved with a 16 year old who turned him on to heavy drugs. Since his job involved a lot of traveling my sister was not aware of his use. He verbally abused and accused her for a year before she awoke at 3:00 in the morning with his hands around her neck strangling her. Their six year old son had to call 911 to rescue her. What followed was a long two year battle for a divorce during which time she had to live in a safe house.

my son also has problems. Hes 20 and he just dont want to work. I got him a job where I work but he got fired.He does not live with me but I worry so much. I feel Im to blame because I was too easy on him. I feel guilty. Any advice?
