Dear Annie: "Britany" is in a special ed program at my school. She is really nice and I try to include her in conversations with my friends. At the end of the year, there is a separate prom for the students in special ed. Britany asked if I wanted to go and I told her I would.

The problem is, there is another girl, "Natasha," who is a senior at a different school. We both kind of have feelings for each other, but it's not exactly official. She is a year older than m ...

To Contented Couple in Canada: What a splendid thing to share! I thought it sounded just like my husband of 1.5 years and I - and he agreed. It IS possible to live without all the drama and angst! Thanks very much!

If Natasha is any kind of stand up woman, she will be pleased that he will honor his date with Britney. If she gets upset or encourages him to break the date, she isn't the kind of person he should be with. It's too bad Natasha waited too long to ask him, but a date to the prom (or anything else) should be honored. We don't get to drop one person because another has something more fun to do.
