My husband is on SS /Disability, and I am 66, and collect my SS under him, well didn't go on Medicare part B, at age 65, and went to apply for it 3 wks.ago the guy told me I will be paying a penelity for the rest of my life, and I missed the cut off time by a wk. They should contact people abt. things like this, I think it is an unfair law!
I think they are unfair to Seniors, people come from other countries and they get everything just handed to them,no questions asked. It is hard enough to survive in this country, and then to have all this added on to you. I know there are laws, and I think some of them need to be changed, I can see a onetime penelity, but not for the rest of my life!
