Know Your Body Before Exercising

by Joe Weider

Tip of the Week: When it comes to exercise, one size does not fit all.

Contrary to the well-worn mantra, all men (and women) are not created equal. We come in a variety of sizes, shapes and physical tolerances, and it's important that we take all of this into account when we're working out.

Hi Joe, This is so important, our paths vary from person to person. I too like to tire out my muscle when working out. Hey, I just lost 22 pounds in three months eating raw vegetables/ fruit, protein, nuts and seeds, mostly. Now two of my friends are also losing. If you put some guacamole, or miso paste/tahini /water, or wine/dijon mustard/canola mayo on veggies/greens/protein the enzymes in the veggies are to fat what turpentine is to paint. And the best part is, the appetite is completely satiated for hours. Then the muscles that you are working at the gym start to really cut up and look mmm mmm good. There is less hinderance and you can lift a little heavier and endurance is better. Just thought I would pass it on. Vegetables, duh, I should have known. I probably eat 2 cups of fruit and four cups of raw veggies a day, plus not fried protein. I just have a little pooch left on the ole' saddlebag area, but not much; 16 inches down all over. All those already washed veggies at the store, including collard greens, have really made it simple. Just a big salad and some protein goes a long way.
