Milk and fruit juice each contain significant amounts of sugar. A person would be better off to moderate all intake of sugars and potentially diet soda can contribute to this reduction. The data presented makes no clear statement that diet sodas are harmful, causative of obesity, or have any other adverse health effects. The insinuations made from the inadequate study are irresponsible and dangerous.
