If all we needed for strong bones were to drink our milk and to take our supplements we wouldn't be in the epidemic of poor bone health that we are now in. Age is only one of the factors that can lead to a decrease in bone strength. Physical activity is known to help build up bone, but few adults receive the exercise they need. Obesity and overweight also impose stress on the skeletal structure. But age is implicated as the leading cause of diminishing bone mass. Consider these statistics: •Approximately 34 million Americans over the age of 50 are estimated to suffer from decreased bone density •Bone and joint disease are a leading cause of disability, affecting over 16 million adults in the United States •According to recent figures, 66 million adults — one in three —report chronic joint symptoms Sources: Office of the US Surgeon General, US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Our bones are like a bank account- withdrawals and deposits must be made regularly or we will be over drawn. As we age, our bones do not absorb as well as they used to and our bones may become brittle. Products that are sold on TV to increase bone mass do only that- they cause our bones to hold onto minerals and do not release them back. Our body cannot withdraw what it needs to function. There are also negative side-effects associated with those products. Osteodenx™ is designed to promote both aspects of bone health- through the release and absorption of vital mineral compounds and the formation of new bone tissue.* A recent study by A.S. Narain Naidu, Ph.D. (Medicine) published in the Osteoporosis International Journal in January showed that taking OsteoDenx™, a natural bio-replenishment product, with no side-effects. Naidu's groundbreaking Bone Density study has been published in the Osteoporosis International Journal, January 27, 2009 (http://tinyurl.com/Osteodenx) The study concluded that...Osteodenx™ “demonstrated a statistically significant reduction in bone resorption and increase in osteoblastic bone formation, to restore the balance of bone turnover within a short period”.* If you are interested to know more about Osteodenx: www.strongbones123.com. *These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.
