If this is the number one priority for the President, then quite possibly it will be the only one he has a chnace to realize for his administration which is sinking rapidly and making his predecessor look better as each day passes.

When a sitting US President does things a local dignitary, or common entertainer, would do his act speaks to his true concerns. The 2016 Olympics may be the only act he knows he has left to rescue his very young, and obviously, failling presidency. There are those who will do very well if this happens but, rest assured, it won't be the poor inner-city kids who put him in the position! He shall be remembered by his acheivements and failures and he may do nothing except make his rivals look all the better. Yes, he shall be remembered for the change he brought to Washington DC and America, just like every president.
