I am confounded and flabbergasted after reading the comments of Thomas Sowell. This is the typical inflammatory sideshow that opponents of the President carry on with. He offers no solutions to the vast problems our nation and President are dealing with but he has the audacity to compare President Obama to Hitler saying both men are “brilliant”. Sowell also believes there is a “limited amount of damage that can be done by dull or stupid people”. He is mistaken as his own and other's stupidity sidetracks the real work and conversations that need to be taking place.

The small businesses, the working people make this country great. If the big government would get out of the way, stop coming up with rules and making more paperwork, let the American ingenuity take over we could make anything work. Stop all of the government handouts, if you don't work you don't eat. Simple

I found the article very enlightening because many programs that had some merit in the past have certainly been circumvented and abused throughout their attempts at creating a better situation for all Americans.
As long as we continue to elect weak people to represent our interests, they all seem to succumb to the wishes of the largest corporation in this country, the government.

Fouad Ajami in the August 29, 2009 WSJ wrote, "He (Obama) thinks like a Latin American dictator w/ a cult of personality. ..." He taught a Boston University during my sophomore year and then moved on to Johns Hopkins SAIS in DC.
