We women need to actually start believing what our guys say. She may have a wonderful friend and companion for the rest of her life but I don't think she has a husband in him. And, she shouldn't be surprised if he comes in one day and announces he's getting married. That spark just may strike him that suddenly. She should believe what he says and if anything more is what she needs, she needs to find someone who can and is willing to give it.

Margo, I usually think the advice you give is okay but the one about the girl and the guy who has emotional problems was completely off. I think you should have focused on the girl. Why in God's name would she have spent so much of her time on someone who doesn't want to be loving towards her? What is her problem? He doesn't like to kiss? She was hurt when he warned her about his emotional issues? She's a moron whose playing the "if he changes for me then it will mean I actually have real value" game. You should have told her to pull her head out of her butt and get some therapy.
