I always dated men who were taller than I am. Of course I am pixie-sized, so that was just about every man in the world. I did notice that the shorter men I liked had a sense of humor. whereas often the tall guys acted like they thought they were Gd's gift.
I will take a man who makes me laugh any day!

I am 5'3" tall so most men qualified as "taller" to me, but while I was often asked out by the 6 footers, I really got tired of snuggling into someone's armpit. My 5'8" husband was a great dancer and I could put my head on his shoulder. I keep reading your assessment that men are looking for beautiful women and women for tall men. I think that looking at the wedding section of any paper would make that rather hard to support. I was considerably overweight in my teens (and when I married) but I was such an idiot that when my mother said that guys would like me for who I was rather than what I looked like, I believed her. And, I was always "in demand" so to speak. So much so that some of the more attractive girls made some rather nasty guesses as to why. The reason can be best summed up by the guy who asked me to dance and said he had been wanting to ask me for some time. I asked why and he said, " Because where ever you are, everyone's laughing. I want in." Mom was right.

Ladies -- allow this older woman to introduce you to te real facts: smaller men are so much more enjoyable as lovers....where small includes height and breadth.

The guy with the "texter" girlfriend has a serious problem. I'd kick her to the curb if I were him. Sounds like she can't be trusted.
