Dr. Wallace, you should have called "Ron, Ames, Iowa" on his distressing comments. Fistfights because a girl is trying to make him jealous? He thinks "aggressiveness" is justified if a girl is wearing tight clothing? Ron is shaping up as a misogynist, and a potential rapist and/or abuser! He needs to be reminded that aggression is NOT justified by a girl's mode of dress, and that a mature, well-adjusted man will respond to blatant teasing by walking away. Beating up some poor guy who unknowingly asked out a girl who's in a relationship? He needs to learn to control his anger and aggression and respect people's boundaries - even if they dress provocatively or flirt a little too much. From Frederick Storaska ("How to Say No to a Rapist - and Survive"): "No matter how unmercifully a woman teases, a man does not have the right to take what he wants. It is illegal, and it is called rape."

Yes, the boy sounds like a junior misogynist. No doubt some teenage girls do behave really badly, but "Ron" should work on improving his own behavior instead of blaming everyone else.
