LW2. When someone overlooks an affair (or several) than why would the cheater change? He likes his life and you accept it. If you are not willing to leave then why are you complaining? He knows you will stay no matter what (or who) he's doing.

I agree with LW2's comment. Why is she complaing if she's willing to stay with this adulterer. She needs professional help badly.

Count me in, too. Stop WHINING. Either leave or stay; but don't think for a minute you'll change a serial cheater.

As for LW1, why assume that Jonathon is anything other than a controlling jerk. He won't "let you" sit anywhere else? Is he that powerful? News flash to all young girls - there is NO WAY of going through life without hurting someone's feelings. Tell him "I'm going to spend time with my friends, stop bothering me."
