The Quigmans

Please contact your local newspaper editor if you want to see The Quigmans in your hometown paper.
Aside from exposing himself on a daily basis in his internationally syndicated cartoon "The Quigmans," Buddy Hickerson also has been an illustrator, nude model, Cracker Jack toy surprise and favored White House intern. "The Quigmans," has been syndicated in many, many newspapers for, should I say, how many years? (OK, 22.) Those papers include: the New York Post, Houston Chronicle, San Francisco Examiner, Paris' Courrier International and Jackson Hole. The cartoon has been collected in three mind-scorching books.

Quigmans fans have been known to occasionally storm a Quigmans-less newspaper office demanding their divinely ordained fix. You, too, are welcome to do so.

You may also remember Buddy Hickerson as the creator of "Mr. Vengeance" some years ago, which caused eyeballs to melt and ran in the acerbic pages of National Lampoon.

Did you happen to catch Buddy's comic plays at the Improv in Dallas in the early 90's? If so, were you the guy that yelled, "Get a job?"

These days, Buddy resides in Hollywood, Calif. where he has the occasional painting show and has toiled in the animation vineyards for such companies as Klasky Csupo, NBC/Carsey Warner and Revolution Studios.    A movie he cowrote is supposed to start shooting in May. Really. More on that, later. While you're waiting, chew on some refreshing Trident gum. Trident: The gum that makes people chew.
