Many existing dating and relationship authors, talk show hosts and columnists are self-proclaimed "experts" with impressive degrees and doctorates in psychology and sociology. If only understanding girls were this easy. Justin and Andy, on the other hand, are battlefield tested. In their 20-plus combined years of being on the prowl for the perfect girlfriend, they have approached countless girls, been rejected more times than they can remember, gone on tons of dates, been involved in several serious relationships, and yes, have lived to tell the stories.
Justin Borus, Denver-born co-creator and co-writer of Girls & Sports, graduated from Williams College in Williamstown, Mass. After creating Girls & Sports with Andrew, Justin further developed and wrote the comic strip while running a student business called the Williams Upperclass Facebook, playing football and driving two hours to the nearest sports bar every Sunday to watch Denver Broncos games. Justin's extensive "research" for the comic strip is done on location in fertile environments for new material, including dingy bars, exotic nightclubs, blind dates and serious relationships. Justin currently lives in Denver and will continue to spend his time investigating the intricacies of dating, relationships and sports until these great cosmic mysteries are solved.
Andy Feinstein, artist, co-creator and co-writer of Girls & Sports, was also raised in Denver. He graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, where he was the editorial cartoonist and a sportswriter for The Emory Wheel while drawing and writing Girls & Sports with Justin. Andrew currently resides in Los Angeles where he previously worked in the animation department for Warner Bros. When he's not sitting at his drawing table penciling the next Girls & Sports comic strip, Andrew spends his time lining up a date for Friday night, watching lots of sporting events and tirelessly practicing his jump shot, which, like his dating skills, still needs much improvement.
