As long as I'm here, I'll add that I've really not liked the nearly stand-alone gag type stories the last while (tho' it does seem to be getting back a bit of the earlier feel thanx)

I noticed that too about the zoom version of this strip. Also, I too didn't care for the stand-alone gags. And I'm not all that crazy about the current artwork. (But that's just me.) And what happened to the story about the guy with the whip?
